Brian Hamilton Foundation Helps Returning Citizens Start Their Own Business

Brian Hamilton Foundation is a beacon of hope for returning members of society. Hamilton and Reverend Robert J. Harris started working at prisons to teach inmates how to become entrepreneurs. Twenty-six years later, an act of service is now a national non-profit.

On Saturday, January 26, Inmates to Entrepreneurs held a 2019 Second Chances Atlanta Conference at the Loudermilk Conference Center. With workshops on marketing and sales, customer service, and business attitudes, attendees left with a boost of confidence on how to re-enter society.

The founders of Quality Control Music, Pierre “Pee” Thomas and Kevin “Coach K” Lee, were supposed to be keynote speakers, but Lee’s mother recently passed, so, unfortunately, Lee and Thomas could not be in attendance.

Speakers included Hamilton, co-chairmen of the org, AJ Ware, attorney for rappers Offset of Migos and Gucci Mane, Drew Findling and criminal defense attorney and founder of Rehabilitation Enables Dreams, David Windecher.
