Before Inmates to Entrepreneurs, the only experience I had with business came from what I learned from drug dealers. All I knew was how to purchase what I needed to make my product then make a profit off of it. With guidance from the instructors and the facilitator, I began to think more strategically and gained an awareness of how to properly invest my time, money and resources. I have changed my behavior and mindset to match the future I am striving for. I have hired a letterer to work on my comics with me and have since decided to form Blank Komix as an LLC, legally. What began as a criminal enterprise is now able to blossom into a legit business that is a service to the global community.
