Melanie Sicotte

Melanie has over a decade of experience as a successful entrepreneur and is passionate about helping those with criminal backgrounds start and run their own businesses. She draws from her personal experiences planning and managing functions and staff to help aspiring entrepreneurs follow their passion.

After graduating from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Melanie opened a private preschool in Milford, Connecticut for her niece. After running it for 12 years, she grew the school to serve over 250 families. In 2016, Melanie sold her school and moved to North Carolina with her family.

Melanie also serves as the Director of Media and Events at the Brian Hamilton Foundation, where she is responsible for planning large-scale national events and coordinating multimedia projects.
